Beautiful New Jellyfish Discovered in Australia

Look on the bright side—this luminous new jellyfish species doesn't sting.

Jellyfish expert Lisa Gershwin caught the unnamed species in early March while swimming near a jetty off the Australian island of Tasmania with a "phototank"—a small aquarium that makes it easy to photograph sea life.

The jellyfish does not emit its own light, as bioluminescent creatures do. (Related: "Monster Glowing Squid Caught on Camera.")

Rather, its rainbow glow emanates from light reflecting off the creature's cilia, small hairlike projections that beat simultaneously to move the jellyfish through the water.

(See a blue jellyfish swarm photo taken in Australia.)

Though the glowing jelly is Gershwin's 159th species discovery in Australia, she still finds the discovery "simply splendid."

For one, the jelly is relatively large—5 inches (13 centimeters) long.

The new species also belongs to Ctenophora, a "strange and poorly known" group of animals, said Gershwin, curator of natural science at the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery in Tasmania.

The invertebrate is also incredibly fragile—it shatters as soon as it touches a net, she said.

"So it begs the question," Gershwin said by email, "of how many fragile species are out there, right under our noses, that we have overlooked. … "

Hillsong Live Album Recording

"Each year our live album recording has served as an opportunity for our entire church to come together, sing the new song and express our worship to God as one. Creatively, our team always endeavour to bring our very best, but the intent has always been above all, to simply capture the heartbeat of our church as it resonates with the heart of God. In 2009 we're going all out, we're taking a new approach and it involves every one of us. It involves you! So get it in your spirit now to expect an encounter with our Creator and Saviour like we've never seen or experienced. Expect the unexpected and let's together believe that whatever gets captured will ultimately break down walls and breathe the light, love and freedom of Christ into peoples circumstances all over the earth." - Joel Houston

After this is the final report.... need to pass up by next week for the supervisor to have a look before printing....

My project is X-Y-Z Cartesian machine. This X-Y-Z Cartesian machine can move X and Y and Z-axis. It is same method with the X-Y table. Than it can move up down and flip 90° by using one set of pneumatic parts. It also can pick a object and put it at the designated place. It can finish in few step by just in one machine.

In The Mystery

In Your Name
There is hope when all seems lost
There is freedom in the power of the cross
Let the world see

(Verse 2)
In Your Name
There is truth where logic fails
Understanding that makes sense of our days
You Are Worthy

(Pre-Chorus)
Hear the song of all creation roar
We’re crying out as One
To You our God
Now show us the way of Your love
And we will come running

(Chorus)
All for Jesus’ name
Your love displayed
We are alive in the mystery
All for sinners’ gain
Your life You gave
We’ll sing Your praise for eternity

(Verse 3)
In Your Name
There is mercy without end
Overtaking us now time and again
Let the world see

(Verse 4)
In Your Name
There is love that never fails
And the promise that Your word will prevail

... Hear us sing

(Bridge)
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Great is Your Name
Great is Your Name

Focus on the Worship, Not the Music

I just attended a 3 day event in my church, with a 30min worship session each evening. Worship, music-wise, on the first two days were ok because several members from the youth music ministry were involved, but none of the musicians on the third day were in the music team, and did not have as much experience. This showed noticeably, as, for example, the band wasn't very tight, and did not control the dynamics very well.

But the worship itself was the most intimate and intense as compared to the previous 2 sessions, for the congregation. It isn't surprising though, because over the past two days, people were confessing and repenting of their sins, opening their hearts to God's voice, and getting right with God again.

This reminded me that worship must be God-led. Good worship doesn't happen because the band or the music is 'cool'; rather, good worship occurs because the worshiper loves and seeks the Lord.

Many of us serve in our church's music team, and we must remember, during rehearsals, not to focus too much on the music, but to focus on the worship instead. Instead of using the music to induce a sense of worship, the music should be aligned to what the worshiper would like to sing to express his or her feelings and praise to God. In other words, we play good music not because we need good music to be able to worship, but because we want to give God the best kind of worship we can give.

In a way, the music doesn't matter as much as we might like to think, because music is an expression of worship, and not a crutch we need to worship. I help out with my church's deaf service often, and they don't use music, of course. Worship comprises mainly of reading and signing song lyrics, and the worship is as engaging and intimate as any with music!

Lastly, musicians often focus too hard on their instruments, rather than on worshiping. Try to worship while you're playing, and let your playing be an extension of the worship in your heart, rather than a set of notes that you've practiced for. It may be hard to do so, thus you need to practice hard at home, and not overexert yourself during service.

Pink dolphin appears in US lake

Charter boat captain Erik Rue, 42, photographed the animal, which is actually an albino, when he began studying it after the mammal first surfaced in Lake Calcasieu, an inland saltwater estuary, north of the Gulf of Mexico in southwestern USA.

Capt Rue originally saw the dolphin, which also has reddish eyes, swimming with a pod of four other dolphins, with one appearing to be its mother which never left its side.

He said: "I just happened to see a little pod of dolphins, and I noticed one that was a little lighter.

"It was absolutely stunningly pink.

"I had never seen anything like it. It's the same color throughout the whole body and it looks like it just came out of a paint booth.

"The dolphin appears to be healthy and normal other than its coloration, which is quite beautiful and stunningly pink.

"The mammal is entirely pink from tip to tail and has reddish eyes indicating it's albinism. The skin appears smooth, glossy pink and without flaws.

"I have personally spotted the pink dolphin 40 to 50 times in the time since the original sighting as it has apparently taken up residence with its family in the Calcasieu ship channel.

"As time has passed the young mammal has grown and sometimes ventures away from its mother to feed and play but always remains in the vicinity of the pod.

"Surprisingly, it does not appear to be drastically affected by the environment or sunlight as might be expected considering its condition, although it tends to remain below the surface a little more than the others in the pod."

Regina Asmutis-Silvia, senior biologist with the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society, said: "I have never seen a dolphin coloured in this way in all my career.

"It is a truly beautiful dolphin but people should be careful, as with any dolphins, to respect it - observe from a distance, limit their time watching, don't chase or harass it

"While this animal looks pink, it is an albino which you can notice in the pink eyes.

"Albinism is a genetic trait and it unclear as to the type of albinism this animal inherited."

A close relation of dolphins, the Amazon River Botos, called pink dolphins, live in South America in the Amazon.

Sing Along Song

I wrote this song
It's not too long
Cause I'm thinking about you
I wrote this song
Maybe I'm wrong
to be called all about you

I don't know what you think about me
Maybe you think nothing at all
But,maybe you could just lie to me
We could be in love, you see

Let's sing a long song
that not too long
It's when I think about you then I hear song
and you can sing alone
Maybe if you won't want to
Cause baby i wrote,i wrote this for you

I wrote this song
It's not too long
cause I'm the one who loves you
i wrote this song
this can't be wrong
I don't wanna smile without you

I just want to make you happy
Maybe you want nothing at all
How I wish that you are mean to be
forever and the day with me

Sing a long song
that not too long
It's when I think about you then I hear song
and you can sing alone
Maybe if you don't want to
Cause baby i wrote,i wrote this for you

In every way, you mean more to me
then you love more
Girl, I do my best to show these words are true
And if you like to make a song in the perfect
harmony with me
I find the greatest words to sing
so we could write our own romantic thing

Grieving our losses

When Jesus' friend, Lazarus died, Jesus wept. When we experience loss and are sad, we need to do the same. When we bury and hide our grief, we hurt ourselves and distort reality. As Cecil Osborne wisely said, "Every unshed tears ia a prism through which all of life's hurts are distorted"

In his book, Daily Affirmations for forgiving and moving on, Tim Dayton wrote, "If my unconcious carries a silent wound, i will always be black and blue inside. I will not be able to approach situations with open eyes for fear they will trigger that unfelt pain. The grief that i carry hidden in silence has great power over my life and my relationship...Until i understand my grief and allow myself to know it, i will not be free of its grip"

Loss is a part of life. grieving these is a process, not an event. There is no quick fix. Whatever emotions are involved- which can include confusion, anxiety and even anger- need to be felt, experienced and expressed in healthy ways, as well as the deep sorrow which needs to be wept or even sobbed out. Tears are God's gift to help drain the pain of deep grief and sorrow.

Furthermore, until i know how to weep with all my heart, i will never know how to love with all my heart either.

Suggested prayer:"Dear God, help me to be connected to and honest with all my emotions, and learn to express them in healthy, constructive ways. And help me to learn to grieve and mourn my losses and not be afraid to cry when i am truly sad. Thank you for the gift of tears as well as the gift of laughter. Help me to realize that both are equally important and healthy. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully in Jesus' name, amen."

The Arm of My Savior

When I'm all alone
And the weight of the world
Is more than I can bear on my own
When all my plans have failed
And I suffered defeat
I'm down on my knees
I can't get to my feet

Your love breaks through
And reminds me of the hope that I have in You
That I have in You

Chorus:
There's no other place
That I'd rather be
Than safe in the arms
The arms of my Savior
There's no other place
Where I can be free
So I run to the arms
The arms of my Savior

When I'm feeling overwhelmed
Like I can't take anymore
I've thrown up my hands
All I see is the floor
I've looked to the north
The south, the west, and the east
But as far as I can see
I can't find any peace

Your grace breaks through
And reminds me of the hope that I have in You
That I have in You

Life shouldn't be something to dread
'Cause I know You still know
How many hairs are in my head
And so I run to You
And so I run to You
