Focus on Doing God's Will
Some of you are carrying a yoke , a heavy burden of the expectations that were put on you by your parents, or your husband, or your wife, or your children. Some of you are burdened down with a yoke put on you by your boss or by your teacher.
But most of us carry a yoke of burden that we've put on ourselves because of unresolved guilt and unrealistic expectations. We're trying to prove that we matter.
We take on a heavy yoke that God never intended in order to prove that we're important when God says we're already important.
God's yoke is that we follow his purpose for our lives, and when we do that, things work out a whole lot better. When we go our own way in life, we hit one brick wall after another. In a sense, God says, "Put on my purpose, my plan for your life."
How heavy is God's yoke? Jesus says, "The yoke I will give you is light and easy." You say, "But my Christian life isn't easy. My Christian life is heavy; it's like a duty that I have to fulfill."
Then it may be you are out of God's will. You may be doing something that God never intended for you to do. Jesus did not come to give you a burden but a blessing.
Matthew 11:27-30 NIV
"All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him. "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

On 11/04/2012 afternoon, earthquake hit Aceh again at 8.6 magnitude. I was seating in the living room with my notebook. Suddenly I saw my notebook screen shaking and the sofo also shaking. All the thing in the leaving room also shake. By that time I knew it was earthquake again. I turn to all the news channel to get the latest news. Getting more and more people report about the earthquake on facebook,
As the news coming, tsunami alert is issue for all country at Indian Ocean. There still no news on the damage it done to Aceh.
I was on my way to badminton session with my friend and I felt the 2nd tremor inside the car. It was estimated that tsunami will hit Penang island at 911pm. All the shopping center was getting ready for the tsunami and close early for the day.
By 836pm the tsunami alert for the coastal regions in Malaysia was lifted.

Discover Your Gifts by Serving
Many people get the discovery process backwards. They think, "Once I discover my spiritual gifts, then I'll know my ministry." It actually works the exact opposite way. Until you're actually involved in serving, you're not going to know what you're good at. The thing to do is just start serving and experimenting with different ministries; only then will you discover your gifts.
You have dozens of hidden abilities and gifts you don't know about because you've never tried them out. So I encourage you to try doing some things you've never done before. No matter how old you are, I urge you to never stop experimenting.
Over the years, I have met many people who discovered hidden talents when they were in their seventies and eighties. In fact, I know a woman in her nineties who runs and wins 10K races; she didn't discover that she enjoyed running until she was seventy-eight!
Don't try to figure out your gifts before volunteering to serve somewhere. Just start serving. Try teaching or leading or organizing or playing an instrument or working with teenagers. You will never know what you're good at until you try. When it doesn't work out, call it an "experiment," not a failure, because it will help you eventually learn what you're good at.
Romans 12:5 NIV
so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.

End of 2011.... Here come 2012
The year 2011 went through so fast. It seem like I just finish my CNY holiday and 2012 CNY is coming soon....
What have I done in 2011?
2011 started with me changing to a new job. Left my previous job because it seem I learn nothing from it.... This new job have been very good... I learn something that I really want to learn and I'm still learning....
Taking a break from the worship team.... After serving in the worship team for 3 years, I come to a stage where I need some rest.... So I take a 4 month break from the worship team to seek God for his plan for me for 2012.... I will be going back to the worship team in Jan 2012..
This year I din't get any new guitar.... There few time I nearly got myself a new guitar but the fire die down... Still I get myself few new effect pedals.. Currently I very happy with all the effect I have..... There should not be any new buying of effect for the next 6 month at least.... For 2012 I still would like to own a Tele.... A Japanese Fender or Fender American Deluxe will be good...... Hope I can collect all the guitar model. Currently I have Strat, Super Strat and Strat X Super Strat.... Missing from the collection is Tele, Les Paul, and Semi-hollow/Hollow....
What I going to do on 2012?
Still thinking..... For sure will continue to work hard and earn money. Already send the forecast for 2012 to my boss... Hope I can achieve my forecast.
Continue to serve in the worship team and continue to grow with the Lord. Will be starting to serve in the worship team early then expected. Will be playing 3 years in a row for Watchnite. I will be serving for the weekend service too.... So I will be playing on the last day of the year and 1st day of the year.

Why Guitar is Better than Woman?
- You can play your Guitar any time of the month.
- Guitars don’t have parents.
- Guitars don’t whine… unless you want them to.
- You can share your Guitar with your friends.
- Guitars don’t care how many other Guitars you've played
- Guitars don’t care how many other Guitars you have.
- Guitars don’t care if you look at other Guitars.
- Guitars don’t care if you buy Guitar magazines.
- You’ll never hear, “Surprise, you are going to proud father of a new Guitar” unless you go out to buy one yourself.
- If your Guitar is flat you can fix it (well… that can be “fixed” on a woman too).
- Your Guitar doesn’t care if you never listen to it.
- Your Guitar won’t care if you leave up the toilet seat.
- You don’t have to be jealous of the guy who works on your Guitar.
- If you say bad things to your Guitar, you don’t have to apologize before you play it again.
- You can play your Guitar as long as you want and it won’t get sore.
- You can stop playing your Guitar as soon as you want and it won’t get frustrated.
- Your parents won’t remain in touch with your old Guitar after you dump it.
- Guitars don’t get headaches.
- Guitars don’t insult you if you’re a bad player.
- Your Guitar never wants a night out with the other Guitars.
- Guitars don’t care if you’re late.
- You don’t have to take a shower before you play your Guitar.
- If your Guitar doesn't look good you can refinish it or get new parts.
- You can play your Guitar the first time you meet it, without having to take it to dinner, see a movie, or meet its mother.
- The only protection you have to wear when playing your Guitar is a decent pick.
- When in mixed company, you can talk about what a great time you had the last time you played your Guitar.
- You can mute your Guitar and it won’t complain.
- Your Guitar won’t mind if you bend its G-string.

Been accused and Backstab
Yesterday heard a news from a friend that he been accused of something that he have not done.
It not just something small but something that put his reputation on state.
According him, someone tell in front of alot of people in a meeting that he saw my friend doing something "not good" (I will not review it here) in Church.
The church leader meet up with my friend and ask him about it. My friend say he don't do it. The church tell my friend to step down from the ministry he serve in so that he will not stumble other people.
My friend was very mad at this that he and his wife have a counseling session with the church leader. Nothing have come out from there.
Currently my friend have make the decision to step down from the ministry as he feel that he been accused and back stab by someone. Should the church leader investigate this matter and not just make assumption that the backstabber is correct and did not listen to my friend.
I been friend with him from 3-4 years already. I never seen him doing the "not good" thing.
I feel very sad that I will be missing one of my good partner in the ministry.
"My Friend, take this time to rest and I will wait for you to come back to the ministry and together ww serve the Lord."
Take Care My Friend!!

SIX PRINCIPLES OF LIFE
No point using limited life to chase unlimited money.
No point earning so much money you cannot live to spend it.
Money is not yours until you spend it.
When you are young, you use your health to chase your wealth;when you are old, you use your wealth to buy back your health. Difference is that, it is too late.
How happy a man is, is not how much he has but how little he needs.
No point working so hard to provide for the people you have no time to spend with.
Remember this -- We come to this world with nothing, we leave this world with nothing!
Sue Divine
Forgiveness is the final form of love
IF ONLY MORE PEOPLE CAN SEE THE LOGIC OF THESE 6 PRINCIPLES.
HOWEVER, THIS IS ONLY APPLICABLE FOR OLDER PEOPLE SO DON'T KILL YOURSELF !!!
THE YOUNGER ONES MUST CONTINUE TO WORK HARD TO ACCUMULATE ENOUGH
WEALTH FOR THEIR OLD AGE .

Memo from God
To: YOU
Date: TODAY
From: THE BOSS
Subject: YOURSELF
Reference: LIFE
I am God. Today I will be handling all of your problems. Please remember that I do not need your help.
If life happens to deliver a situation to you that you cannot handle, do not attempt to resolve it. Kindly put it in the SFGTD (something for God to do) box. All situations will be resolved, but in My time, not yours.
Once the matter is placed into the box, do not hold onto it by worrying about it. Instead, focus on all the wonderful things that are present in your life now.
If you find yourself stuck in traffic; Don't despair. There are people in this world for whom driving is an unheard of privilege.
Should you have a bad day at work; Think of the man who has been out of work for years.
Should you despair over a relationship gone bad; Think of the person who has never known what it's like to love and be loved in return.
Should you grieve the passing of another weekend; Think of the woman in dire straits, working twelve hours a day, seven days a week to feed her children.
Should your car break down, leaving you miles away from assistance; Think of the paraplegic who would love the opportunity to take that walk.
Should you notice a new gray hair in the mirror; Think of the cancer patient in chemo who wishes she had hair to examine.
Should you find yourself at a loss and pondering what is life all about, asking what is my purpose? Be thankful. There are those who didn't live long enough to get the opportunity.
Should you find yourself the victim of other people's bitterness, ignorance, smallness or insecurities; Remember, things could be worse. You could be one of them!
Should you decide to send this to a friend; Thank you, you may have touched their life in ways you will never know

Just LOVE me for who I am
One evening last week, my girlfriend and I were getting into bed. Well, the passion starts to heat up, and she eventually says, 'I don't feel like it, I just want you to hold me.'
I said, 'WHAT??!! What was that?!'
So she says the words that every boyfriend on the planet dreads to hear...
'You're just not in touch with my emotional needs as a woman enough for me to satisfy your physical needs as a man.'
She responded to my puzzled look by saying, 'Can't you just love me for who I am and not what I do for you in the bedroom?'
Realizing that nothing was going to happen that night, I went to sleep.
The very next day I opted to take the day off of work to spend time with her. We went out to a nice lunch and then went shopping at a big, big unnamed department store. I walked around with her while she tried on several different very expensive outfit s. She couldn't decide which one to take, so I told her we'd just buy them all. She wanted new shoes to compliment her new clothes, so I said, 'Lets get a pair for each outfit.'
We went on to the jewelry department where she picked out a pair of diamond earrings. Let me tell you... she was so excited. She must have thought I was one wave short of a shipwreck. I started to think she was testing me because she asked for a tennis bracelet when she doesn't even know how to play tennis
I think I threw her for a loop when I said, 'That's fine, honey.' She was almost nearing sexual satisfaction from all of the excitement. Smiling with excited anticipation, she finally said, 'I think this is all
dear, let's go to the cashier.'
I could hardly contain myself when I blurted out, 'No honey, I don't feel like it.'
Her face just went completely blank as her jaw dropped with a baffled, 'WHAT?'
I then said, 'Honey! I just want you to HOLD this stuff for a while. You're just not in touch with my financial needs as a man enough for me to satisfy your shopping needs as a woman.'
And just when she had this look like she was going to kill me, I added, 'Why can't you just love me for who I am and not for the things I buy you?'
Apparently I'm not having sex tonight either....but at least she knows I'm smarter than her!

PEMANDU's Idris Jala got it wrong
No idea who wrote this.
Friends,
Idris Jala's proposals regarding subsidy cuts is commendable . However, he did not recommend a full "treatment" to "cure" our woes !!! You can cut and cut and cut , BUT if corruption and wasteful spending continues unchecked, we will be back to square one, maybe back to square four !!!
With PERKASA's Ibrahim Ali screaming to "protect" Malay rights, we are going the Greece 's way. He is not protecting any Malay rights -he is protecting his own rights .There are thousands of Malays who are recognised professionally in the country and overseas and claimed high positions without any political connections or "protections". He insults these people !! PERKASA only want the political rent-seeking system to continue. !! Read the article below --the truth hurts !!!
Idris Jala should have a footnote to his proposals that should read : All the subsidy cut proposals will come to nothing unless we stop subsiding corruption and rent-seeking in the country
Some of you are supporting the proposal to cut govt subsidies.... some of you are not sure... so, please read the following......
PEMANDU and Idris Jala are actually right to say that cutting subsidies could lower Malaysia ’s debts, but the cuts will ONLY BE successful if leakages from corruption are plugged beforehand.
For example, government subsidies are being given to Independent Power Producers (IPP), so that they can supply electricity to TNB and earn profits. These IPP-directed subsidies are worth RM13 billion every year and they include the supply of cheaper Petronas gas to the power producers themselves.
There is a 20-year interest free loan of RM 320 million given to SYABAS, the Selangor water company. As SYABAS is also a privatised company, why is the government subsidy via a 20-year interest-free loan necessary?
The total deficit the government need to cover amounts to a whopping RM47 billion. The total subsidy is even more staggering -- about RM74 million. Removing the subsidies will NOT help reducing the deficits a lot, but a considerable number of poor and middle-class Malaysians will undoubtedly be affected.
Details of subsidies are social (RM42.8 billion), fuel (RM23.5 billion), infrastructure (RM4.8 billion) and essential foods (RM3.4 billion). If this amount includes subsidies for health services, then PEMANDU must review the market prices of medicine and various pharmaceuticals and then compare them with the prices at which the Ministry of Health is buying.
In 2008, the global price for crude oil is about USD140 per barrel, and the fuel subsidy the government have to bear was RM17 million. Today the global crude price is about USD70 per barrel, yet the govt. fuel subsidy has ballooned to RM23.5 billion. Why? Have we forgotten that recently the govt also spent RM8 billion on purchasing armoured vehicles and tanks not to mention another further RM3.4 billion for the infamous submarine that could not dive?
Idris Jala claimed Malaysia consume more fuel per capita than many countries. That is probably correct. But, has the government made serious efforts to combat the fuel subsidy leakage?
Take fishing fuel subsidy in Sabah as example. There are 1,200 trawlers registered with the Fisheries’ Department. However, there are only 200 real trawlers (physically present), this means there are 1,000 phantom trawlers enjoying fuel subsidies. How sure is Idris Jala that similar phantom trawlers do not exist in the Lembaga Kemajuan Ikan Malaysia (LKIM) registry throughout the country? And the government has the nerve to tell us that it is subsidising RM12,900 per household per year?!
Have we also forgotten the Auditor-General’s Report exposing misappropriation in the way of outlandish government spending such as RM500 to purchase 1 unit of screwdriver, or the same government-issue car being filled to full tank twice in a space of 1 minute apart, or Port Klang Free Zone’s project that has escalated to beyond RM4.6 billion from the original budget of RM1.1 billion?
Today, when you drive through Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP), you pay RM1.60 at the toll. The government said that you are subsidised at RM0.50 else, it should costs RM 2.10 to use the highway. But here’s where the corruption begins: LDP was built with RM1.42 billion, with a concession period of 1996-2030 but the government pays out RM2.6 billion every year in subsidy to the same highway company. What this means is that once the government subsidy is removed, each usage of the LDP will cost you RM2.10. So the question is who approved and signed the contract with the highway company? Who agreed to such toll rates?
In the United Kingdom , British students pay subsidised university fees. International students there paid fees from £8,000 to £10,000 per year. In Malaysia , local students take PTPTN loans of about RM21,000 for 3-year undergraduate studies. Foreign students pay only about RM15,000-RM17,000 for the same duration of study. The government is subsidising foreign students so that we can become the education hub. Why use taxpayer’s money to subsidise foreign students? Why can foreigners get subsidised medical care at government hospitals? And, it’s not just the government that is proposing to reduce our subsidies; we are actually already subsidising government projects!
Let’s take the ERL (express train from KL Sen tral to KLIA) as another example. Did you know that each time you use the LCCT in Sepang, RM5 of your airport tax actually goes to subsidising the ERL? LCCT passengers like you and I who don’t use ERL are subsidising the ERL train service! No kidding – this was confirmed by the Finance Ministry. Why are we paying subsidies for a facility that we may or may not use?
In 2009 the government spent RM1 billion on sugar subsidies even though Malaysia ’s sugar is now controlled by BERNAS following Robert Kuok’s sale of his entire sugar monopoly. In plain English that RM1 billion subsidy is specifically meant as BERNAS’ profits, which of course suggests that “what comes out from the left pocket, goes into the right pocket.” Of course removing the sugar subsidy means most food prices will go up. Our sugar prices may be lower than most others in the region, but think again – our fresh graduates’ salaries are also among the lowest also! Yet on the other hand our food prices are among the highest in the same region – any tourist in Kuala Lumpur will be able to tell you if by comparison Malaysian foods are or aren’t cheap.
According to Idris Jala, the government debt stands at RM362 billion and still rising and may reach RM1.158 trillion by 2019. The possibility he raised is that Malaysia may go bankrupt following in the footsteps of Greece . Actually this is counter to Najib’s own statement recently where he assures the nation that we are not affected by the Greece contagion. So why the contrast?
Actually, it is true that Malaysia is one of the most subsidised nations in the world. But think again, where else in the world can you find endless tolled highways in almost every corner of the city? Where else can you find foreign students subsidised in universities by the government? Where else can you get a government who can spend billions here and there, and yet warns you that “we are going bankrupt” because of subsidies?
Last week, we were told that Malaysia is 10th most competitive country in the world. But has anyone told you that just 2 days ago, Malaysia has been ranked 102 out of a total of 152 countries in terms of average Internet speed? We are 18 times slower than South Korea while Thailand is at 63rd, Philippines 90th, China 76th, Spore 31st, and Taiwan 36th.
Friends,

Good Bye to the 1st half of 2010......
So fast 1st half of 2010 is coming to an end. Looking back at what I write last year seem like I just write it last month. Time pass so fast that we don't realizing it..
What have I done for the last 6 month of 2010? Don't really remember what I have done. Can't think of anything other then I change my job before CNY (Last week of Jan). Been thinking of changing job since Dec 2009. Praying hard for a suitable job for me. The opportunity came to me. It a software company that sell software for mechanical engineering design. When I tell my dad about it, the boss of the company is my father friend. Been working at this company for 5 month now.
Last year I was crazy about guitar stuff and watches. Got myself alot of guitar stuff and a watch.I got myself everything I needed for me to improve my skill on guitar and bass. I got myself 3 guitar, a bass guitar and lot of effect pedal.
For the last 6 month, I din really improve alot on my guitar and bass. I still learn something new but not that much as last year. I been roster to play bass since last year. At 1st I still have Mr.G to rotate between guitar and bass but after he been put to other team, I don have people to rotate with me. If my calculation is correct I just play 3 weekend go guitar in church for the last 6 month.
Got myself interest in DSLR again. Get my self wake up at 530am and go to QE2 to take sunrise picture. The picture turn out not bad. See it here
What I going to do for the 2nd half of 2010? I haven plan what I going to do. Maybe the 1st step to start project 365 (inspired by Mr. YS) Everyday I will take a picture and post here on www.joeypoon.net. I will start tomorrow so by next year I will have 365 post.
Look out for it!!

BEST POEM IN THE WORLD
I was shocked, confused, bewildered
As I entered Heaven's door,
Not by the beauty of it all,
Nor the lights or its decor.
But it was the folks in Heaven
Who made me sputter and gasp--
The thieves, the liars, the sinners,
The alcoholics and the trash.
There stood the kid from seventh grade
Who swiped my lunch money twice.
Next to him was my old neighbor
Who never said anything nice.
Herb, who I always thought
Was rotting away in hell,
Was sitting pretty on cloud nine,
Looking incredibly well.
I nudged Jesus, 'What's the deal?
I would love to hear Your take.
How'd all these sinners get up here?
God must've made a mistake.
'And why is everyone so quiet,
So somber - give me a clue.'
'Hush, child,' He said, 'they're all in shock.
No one thought they'd be seeing you.'
JUDGE NOT!!
Remember...Just going to church doesn't make you a
Christian any more than standing in your garage makes you a car.
Every saint has a PAST...
Every sinner has a FUTURE!

Poisonous plant(毒植物)
Don't know how TRUE but better be safe than sorry.

Do you have this plant at home? beware of it coz too hazard to health! Hey frenz...some of you don't read Chinese language but never mind, pls take note coz this is really too alarming to be ignored & i must share w/u guys...
Basically this article warns abt the highly poisonous plant as shown below...so pls be aware now that it seems too hazardous to be placed at home, in office or anywhere near our dwelling places!
Apart fr the poison in the sap of the leaves which causes irritation, inflamation or swelling of the face & jaw esp those with allergic skin when come into contact, this plant is useless in terms of air purification, absorption of other harmful or even cancer causing gases in the air e.g.CO2, CH2O(Formaldehyde),C2-H-Cl3(Trichloroethylene)...in fact, even the soil where the plant used to grow wld also turn poisonous! So, don't use the soil to plant veggies. Even, insects, ants will not go near to this plant.
Oh dear! too bad, so sad :( don't u think?....such a nice, strong yet elegant plant liked by many just like myself! Incidentally, the Chinese particularly loves this plant owing to it's common name "Gold Coin" tree I guess?? & its glamor & popularity are so amazing during CNY time...esp w/little red ribbons tied to its branches!
Anyway for now, just to be safe, probably we can only be "distant admirers" of this lovely plant ya!
Take care...GOD BLESS!

Faulty IC replacement and Passport Application.
Since I have 2 days leave b4 I start my new job, I went to JPN to replace my faulty IC and change the address as well.
I went to the JPN office at Butterworth around 11 am. There not much people there. You need to make sure u have all the thing before u go take number.
Things needed to replace faulty IC is
a) IC (original and photocopy)
b) replacement form.
Changing address u need to bring one utility bill (any month also ok) with new address.
After u fill in the form u go to the counter and take number and have a seat. When ur number is call go to the designated counter and give all the document to the person. They will process everything to u.
It only took me 15 minute to complete the whole process.
The next day I went to the immigration office to do my passport. This is the first time I doing a passport. The last time I go out of Malaysia is like maybe 15 years ago. Last time I have my passport attach to my mom passport.
I went to the immigration office around 10am. There a lot of people there seating down waiting already.
Thing to bring:
a) IC (original and photocopy) **(If u replace ur IC like me askfor JPN 09 resit when u do ur IC without that u cannot do passport)
b) 2 passport size photo
c) fill in the form
d) CASH - RM100 32 page 2 years
RM300 32 page 5 years
RM600 64 page 5 years
After fill in the form take ur number and wait for ur turn. There are TV around for u to see but there no free WIFI.
Just pass all the document to them and they will check if u are blacklisted. They will process everything and u just seat and wait for ur turn to pay the money (cash only no Cradit Card)
After pay there will tell u what time came back and take the passport. (Normally 2 hour)
If u applied in Butterworth, u can spend the 2 hour in Tesco Extra. That the nearest shopping place to go.
Its kind of easy now to applied Passport and replace ur old faulty IC.
No picture in this post to protect my security. hehe..
I will be going to SG in Feb.

Testimonies of Metro Tabernacle Church
I receive this Very encouraging testimonies from my friend.
Anyway, the reason for writing is to encourage each and everyone of us. My colleague, Celia Tham is a member of the Metro Tabernacle church. This morning (my 1st day back at work) she shared with me the wonderful testimonies that has happened since the burning of their church. And I would like to share the same with you all too.
1) The night before the church was burned their Pastor was at the church past 11pm because he wanted to check his emails.. He is a very hardworking person and has a habit of wanting to complete his work as much as possible. But he is also very sensitive to the Holy Spirit. When he got to the church premise and was about to swipe the card to open the door, he had a terrible stomachache that he had never had before. He knew that the Lord was telling him to go back home and he obeyed and left the church premise. It was past midnight that the church was torched. If he had not obeyed he would have been burned alive and would not be able to live to tell this wonderful testimony. God still has work for him to do on earth. His time was not up yet.
2) The MTC had trouble moving to the new premises in Batu Caves. They had been waiting for approval from the Local Authorities and is still pending. Then they were facing financial difficulties as they needed to buy new furniture for the new premise. They had been raising funds on their own to relocate to Batu Caves but had been stuck due to approval permits and raising more $ to buy new furniture and equipment. So when the church was burned it was all the old stuff that they had been wanting to get rid off! And our Govt compensated them RM500K and CIMB and many other donations started to pour in. From an adversity it turned into a blessing! Our God truly provides!
3) Celia has been rejoicing in the office and shared with my MD. Today at our Management meeting, the MD said I had never seen anyone so full of joy when the church got burned down but instead she said it was a blessing.
4) Celia said the church leaders and members shook hands with Najib and they released forgiveness for whatever that has happened in the past. She said Najib felt very welcomed at the church. Hishamuddin commented that during his visit he has never seen so many smiling faces when their church had just been burned down. To God be the glory!
5) They also requested for the Batu Caves new church premise to be turned into a place of worship and not a commercial zone. The Selangor Govt is looking into it and the MB, Khalid gave his assurance that he will look into it personally.
6) The Metro Tabernacle worship service appeared in the International Herald Tribune (they were on international news) and the photo of the worshippers with their hands raised was taken in the Wisma MCA hall. My MD asked what was happening and Celia told him we were praising and worshipping God. MD didnt know that this was how we praised and worshipped God.
7) A few years ago a visiting speaker from overseas prophesied that the MTC would be in international news. At that time the congregation thought that their Pastor would be traveling around the world to preach as he was already doing that but she said now they understood what the speaker said. I told Celia if it was the doing of man, God would not be glorified but when it is not of man, then God would be glorified like in this situation.
8) It was good to see many church leaders of other denominations coming together at the MTC worship service over the last few days, united and praying together.
9) Lastly, sometime last year Celia approached me and said that she has been praying and she was convicted in her heart to give me an invitation to ask our church/cell to partner with them in prayer with regards to the move to the new church premise in Batu Caves. They were facing a lot of spiritual warfare. I remember sharing with the cell. We didnt know very much about them then. God is moving amongst us and we could choose to obey his call to pray or disregard and miss the excitement and blessing
I hope the above sharing would have encouraged us all to press on and serve our Almighty God. MTC has found favour with God and so has many other churches. We must increase our faith to the next level and stay united. PRAYER is the only powerful weapon God has given to all of us. Lets use it mightily for His Glory!

For These Reasons
I’m not gonna talk about the Allah issue that’s going on in Malaysia right now. I think religion has cause so much of the world’s problems that the less airtime we give, the better.
I would like to thank GOD for His endless love, for the life He gave, for the second chance, for His priceless grace, for His healing hands, for the gift of peace, for the blessed hope and for the faith to believe.
For all the reason above I praise You, I worship You, I live to tell
of Your love to all the world!!!
God let all this thing happen for a reason. This is the time we show God how strong is our FAITH. We must continue to praise and worship him. We must continue to reach out for the people out there that hunger for GOD especially our COUSIN out there!
I love You Lord with all my heart
You've given me a brand new start
And I just want to sing this song to You
It goes like this the fourth the fifth
The minor fall the major lift
My heart and soul are praising
Hallelujah
I know that You're the God above
You're filling me with grace and love
And I just want to say thank You to You
You pulled me from the miry clay
You've given me a brand new day
Now all that I can say is
Hallelujah

GST = Go Squeeze Them
How many of us have known this fact…………………
Go, Squeeze Them (GST).
Our Rakyat do not fully understand the implication of GST, until it is implemented and prices of goods spiralling upwards. By then it is too late.
A rich country like Singapore introduced GST at 3%.
A poor Malaysia wants to implement GST at 4%
GST is a multi-stage tax system. ( TRY TO UNDERSTAND THIS !!!!!)
Everything the sellers sold, from manufacturer, wholesaler to retailers, collect GST for the government. Unlike the the current sales and service tax (SST) is a single-stage tax. Only one party along the supply chain collect the SST for the government. If the manufacturer collects the tax, the rest are not allowed to collect.
Just imagine every seller add GST when they sell. ( READ N TRY TO UNDERSTAND THIS !!!!! )
For example: The current Sales Tax for Toilet soap is 10%. With GST, the manufacturer pays 4% to the govt when he sells it to the Wholesaler, the Wholesaler pays the govt another 4% when he sells to a Retailer; and when the Retailer sells it to the Consumer, he pays another 4% to the govt. The Consumer actually ends up paying more than 12% in cummulative GSTs for the same piece of soap or > 20% more in taxes. (10% vs 12%+++)
1) Manufacture to Wholesaler - RM 1.00 + 4% ( RM 0.04 ) = 1.04
2) Wholesaler to Retailer - RM 1.04 + 4% ( RM 0.42) = 1.082
3) Retailer to Consumer ( idiots like you and me )
- RM 1.082 + 4% ( RM0.043) = 1.125
YOU AND I HAVE TO PAY A TOTAL TAX OF 12.5% or RM 0.125 FOR EVERY RINGGIT OF THE MANUFACTURERS PRICE ON THIS THREE TIERS SYSTEM
If the supply chain is longer than 3 stages, the consumer ends up paying 4% more for each addition stage. Eg Manufacturer to Agent (4%) to Wholsaler (4%) to Retailer (4%) to Consumer (4%).. Total 16% ++++ (vs 10%) or 60% more in taxes!!!!
( This final price that idiots like you and me have to pay is
RM 1.17 equivalent to 17% TAX or RM0.17 for every Ringgit of the manufacturers price) on this FOUR tiers system
If the GST is not stopped, the Rakyat will ended up paying very very very high prices for everything. ( that is why it is call the GO, SQUEEZE THEM - GST )
